Mako Shark

The main difference between the Shortfin Mako Shark (top) and the Longfin Mako Shark (bottom) is the lengths of the tail fin.

The Mako Shark can jump 30 ft. (9 m.). It is also the fastest shark in the world and can cruise at 25 mph (40 km/h) with bursts of speed up to 46 mph (74 km/h). The Mako Shark has one of the largest brain: body ratios out of all sharks!
